Mozart’s letters for Constanze

“Constanze, my other half” – Mozart and Constanze, their love in letters.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart genuinely loved his wife Constanze and his letters are filled to the brim with this feeling. The letters are as playful and provocative as they are serious and desperate. Surprisingly, they are also proof of a tender relationship that was full of unrelenting desire even during its crisis and seemed to be a union standing against the rest of the world.
The stage will host two Mozarts. Ondřej Brousek, who played Mozart at the Vinohrady Theatre, and the pianist Miroslav Sekera, who played young Mozart in Miloš Forman’s famous film Amadeus.
