It seemed the life of the outstanding violinist Alma Rosé would be filled with music, success and happiness. In the end, only music remained. Everything else was scattered like ashes.

The story of the daughter of Arnold Rosé, an accomplished Viennese violinist, and the niece of Gustav Mahler contains all the incomprehensible and terrifying twists and turns of the first half of the 20th century in Europe. Moreover, it raises the question of what kind of power art can have in human life.
